How to Unistall AVG antivirus 8.0 Free Edition?

Try opening up task manager by pressing cntrl+alt+del and the go to processes and find anything with avg in the name and highlight it and press end process. After ending all the avg processes try doing the uninstall again, that is if it even shows up in your add or remove programs because you deleted all the files. If the uninstall program icon is not there you will have to re-install avg. Only other way I can think of is a system restore, but that's probably not an option for you I'm guessing. - Hope that helped
