What is a nice & appropriate Thank you gift to give to a Hindu?

My son is about to finish for his summer term at school. His teacher has been wonderful & we would like to get her a thank you gift. She is a Hindu & I think it would be extra nice to give her something symbolic to her faith. Any suggestions or details of how we could write something symbolic & nice in her card?
