What do you think i should do about this situation? advice?

Talk with your friend, you don't know if she had a bad day or something that was on her mind. It isn't wrong of you, this might become clearer if you were to talk to your parents about this type of thing and don't make it seem like some type of act of defiance, you never know some times parents can surprise you. Next time though keep in mind to book the extra insurance, it is about 5 dollars or something like that a day your over there and can really come in help. good luck
