Subs not hitting?

i have 2 12'' kicker l7 4ohm wired to a hifonics 2006d amp, i recently replaced the rcas from the amp to my eq cause it wasnt ''hitting'' like it was a few weeks all the setting on the amp and hu are stil the same, what could be the cause of this? the amp or the hu maybe? i have checked all my wiring and it all seems fine, recently my hu has been giving my error messges and the cds wont eject at all
